Maggie Marshall,ABCDT - Dog Obedience Instructor
My philosophy for training was inspired by my own dogs.  I wanted well-mannered, friendly dogs that added enjoyment to my family's life. I do not train dogs to compete or pass any tests.  I train dogs to become well-behaved members of families for their lifetimes.

Too many dogs are labeled as having behavior problems and are destroyed or brought to shelters needlessly. With patience, training, and the right placement, ALL dogs can become great companions.  If a dog has already developed a behavior problem or if you've acquired a dog with existing problems, don't be discouraged.  I can help you teach your dog what you'd like him to do and get him to stop doing the things you dislike.

I use only positive training techniques including food rewards and clickers.  I will provide you with a personally tailored treatment and/or training plan for you and your dog.  It is up to you as the owner, to determine your training goals and it is my job to help you to accomplish them.

A dog should be a joy, a friend, a playmate and a lifetime companion.

These are two of my best friends:

Buckley, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was a gift from a friend in need and continues to be a gift to our family every day!

Callie, my Sheltie-Mix is from the Brewster Animal Rescue League in MA. She really is my constant companion and a great source of comfort.
